  4. Chapter 3: Mortar Mixes: Master the art of preparing mortar mixes for bricklaying. Learn about different types of mortar, mixing ratios, and techniques for achieving consistency and strength.
  5. Chapter 4: Plumbing, Levelling, and Gauging: Understand the importance of plumbing and levelling in bricklaying. Learn how to use plumb bobs, spirit levels, and string lines to ensure accurate alignment and verticality of brick walls. Explore gauging techniques for consistent mortar joints.
  6. Chapter 5: Setting out a Basic Wall: Learn how to set a bare brick wall, including layout planning, foundation preparation, and course marking. Develop skills in establishing reference points and laying the first course of bricks.
